“Sikander, I want to go to buy a winter jacket for your birthday together. I know it\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s a bit odd but I want to buy a jacket you like. Sorry for being too practical but hey, we don\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t want to get something just OK do we?”<\/p>\n

We went to Yorkdale mall<\/a> and got a nice Columbia Bugaboo<\/a> winter jacket.<\/p>\n

“sikander, I am so sorry, you know, I am so bad at making a surprise. It\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s boring to get a birthday gift like this, isn\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t it?”<\/p>\n

“No, no I really like it. Thank you so much”<\/p>\n

After winter jacket shopping, we headed for downtown to go the “The Decemberists<\/a>” concert. It was fun.. if they are coming to your town, go and enjoy.<\/p>\n

On the way back dooh<\/a> called and said the first “happy birthday” to sikander. I didn\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t know it was already midnight :(<\/p>\n

After we got home, I told asked: “sikander, I am so sorry to say this, but when was the last time you took a shower ?”<\/p>\n

“Oh no.. really? Believe me, it\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s because we were in such a big crowd\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u00a6..damn. Sorry”<\/p>\n

While sikander was taking a shower I took out the new bathrobe I had bought for him and hidden in the superintendent\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s office for a few days. I laid it out for him with a Happy Birthday card as well.<\/p>\n

“Whoa.. lunato, what is this?”<\/p>\n

Hahaha sikander “happy birthday”<\/p>\n

The next morning, his birthday, we went to IKEA<\/a> for their $1 breakfast. We had wanted to have IKEA\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s breakfast for so long, but all the time failed to go there in time. Today we got up like 7 in the morning, and finally finally we made it. It was a nice healthy vegetarian breakfast.<\/p>\n

Mom came over and we had a good time. We also went to T&T supermarket<\/a> in Thornhill and sikander tried eel for the first time and didn’t like it. Bulkbarn<\/a> was right beside it so we bought a ton of stuff from there as well. Going to bulkbarn is almost a tradition now haha.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
