Earlier this month I mentioned on Shack about how I was worried I might scratch the huge LCD screen on our new Canon SD 700IS. Dodob read the post and was nice excellent enough to send me an LCD screen protector all the way from Taipei. How cool is that :D
on Valentine’s Day we had an excellent dinner at Spring Rolls restaurant in downtown Toronto. it surpassed all my previous favourite restaurants and became my new favourite.
later in the evening, i almost tripped and fell on the floor because of sikander’s present. he had hidden a Passion Fruit Bath set from The Body Shop somewhere in the apartment. i told him i don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. I told him! he never listens (smart husband!) and then he put it on the floor in front of the washroom. when i came out i almost tripped over it haha :):)
this family reunion was long over-due. skid flew in from Vancouver and dad flew in from Karachi the next day. For skid’s birthday on the 13th, we gave him bedroom slippers, a small night-time reading light that clips onto the book you are reading, and a Cash 4 Life lottery ticket (with the condition that 2/3rds of all winnings must be given to lunato and me hehe). Thrawn and parents gave him some pretty nice clothes from Mexx. We had an excellent weekend :)
