while sikander was having fun in ottawa with his ottawa number 1,2,3,4,5…., i went out with my friend sunny to have fire chicken at a restaurant. it is a very very spicy chicken dish. its name in korean is booldak but we call it fire chicken. the restaurant serves it with fish cakes so we can calm our tongue when eating the spicy chicken. it was delicious but oh my god, so very spicy. i had tears in my eyes and my face was all red. i don’t think i will be having it again anytime soon. this person had the same experience when eating fire chicken. here is some more information but it is all in korean: 1 and 2
also, on the way to the restaurant, we saw a sign for a “Modern Toilet” and we went inside to see what a modern toilet is like. it wasn’t so impressive at all. in fact, it was even a bit disappointing.
